Shrub Trimming
Neat, cleanly shaped shrubs that frame your home's exterior beautifully. Up to 15 shrubs per visit — included once a year in our entry plan, twice a year in higher tiers.
Why It Matters
Shrubs that frame the house, not swallow it.
Foundation shrubs are planted to frame a house, and left alone for a couple of seasons they start covering it instead. They climb past the windowsills, push against the siding, hold moisture against the house, and give pests a highway to the roofline.
We trim up to 15 shrubs each visit, shaping them back to clean lines and keeping them off the house. Weekend Saver members get a spring trim. Show-Off and Cul-De-Sac King members get a second, final cut in the fall, so the beds look sharp from spring through winter.
Ornamental grasses get cut back in late winter or early spring, which clears the dead foliage and lets the new growth come in clean.

Shrub Trimming FAQs
- How many times a year do you trim?
Weekend Saver includes one trim in the spring. Show-Off and Cul-De-Sac King add a final cut in the fall, so you get two a year.
- Which plants are covered?
Junipers, arborvitae, yews, boxwoods, hollies, and other broad-leaf evergreens planted along the foundation, plus ornamental grasses like fountain grass, switchgrass, and feather reed grass. If you're not sure whether something counts, ask us.
- What if I have more than 15 shrubs?
Each visit covers up to 15. Tell us when you review your quote and we'll account for the rest.
- Do I need to be home?
No. Everything we do is outside, so most visits happen while you're at work or away. Please put pets away, leave gates unlocked, and keep the driveway clear. We text before each visit, and our tech texts when they're on the way.
